I installed version 9.1 of the Intel Compiler compiler this morning. Plans for this weekend include doing three Windows builds of TinyMUX 2.4 and releasing another Beta. It doesn’t look exactly like the yellow-bellied marmont described in Wikipedia, however, they get fatter in the Fall just before hibernating, and this picture was taken in July.

I caught this little guy in the Lake Easton State Park on the Eastern side of the pass.
At the time, I had only the normal lens, and even so, I was bending down to get the right view. I was close enough for him to jump on my head.

I caught Phil overlooking Banks Lake from Steamboat Rock during our hike to the top. The kids stayed near the big rock, while Phil, Sue, and I walked to one of the other corners.
The entire hike was probably around 3 hours.

While camping near Moses Lake in Eastern Washington, Emily wanted me to get a close up on a dragon fly that had landed on her thumb. Eastern Washington has waves of bugs in various seasons. It can be quite miserable for campers if you hit it wrong.
